didi rugby Limited takes our data protection responsibilities very seriously and we will ensure that we are fully compliant with all the principles and requirements of GDPR. We have completed an audit of all data collected; stored and processed and the company has implemented processes and procedures that adequately protect the privacy of individuals and ensures that data protection is integral to all processing activities. This policy states how we collect; store and use data.

We collect information as part of our contract with customers when they register for membership of didi rugby

How is it stored?

We use processors with secure systems and processes. Data is encrypted and stored securely by Teamup, our data processor.

The purpose of processing

We use their data to provide information on didi rugby sessions; school holiday sessions; special events with our ambassadors and special offers in the kit shop.

Email Marketing

Occasionally didirugby uses Mailchimp to store your name and email address for some emails to you with information about didirugby. You can read MailChimp’s own Privacy Policy here here

Our lawful basis for processing

Our lawful basis is the contract we have with you to provide membership of didi rugby.

Recipients of personal data

We do not share data with any other organisations, it is used purely for the core business purpose and primary activity of providing didi rugby membership entitlement and information about didi rugby sessions; products and services.

Retention periods for personal data

We retain family’s personal data during the period of your membership and until the child’s 7th birthday and is outside the age range for didi rugby.

Changes to this information

We regularly review and, where necessary, update our privacy information. If in the future we plan to use personal data for a new purpose, we update our privacy information and communicate the changes to individuals before starting any new processing.

Access to personal data

Customers have unlimited access to view and edit their own data.

Erasure and Rectification of your own Personal Data

If you believe that any information we hold on you is incorrect or incomplete an individual has the right to ask the Company to correct or erase personal data and to specify if they want personal data removed entirely or to be kept on a list of individuals who do not want to be contacted in the future.

Restriction of processing or objection to processing

The individual can request a restriction where information it is inaccurate; unlawful; or being used for legal claims; pending verification of public interest or legitimate interest.

didi rugby limited provides internal data protection training to staff and Franchisees and updates are provided as new requirements are introduced.

Recruitment was soooo exciting, travelling the country to meet new and exciting prospects mainly from the rugby family network initially.. just good people that really wanted to build something special for themselves, their families and/ or their communities . This was a way of making a difference by doing something amazing , that could also create an extra income for doing something that you really enjoy! The one class turned into two classes, then three classes very quickly with parents and children enjoying classes, and sharing this information with their friends! Children were having fun and parents were seeing the benefits of didi rugby first hand.. the younger children (didi minis 18 months-3 years) were tired and having naps after classes, they were developing their physical motor skills, like balance and coordination, but also their understanding of colours, numbers , concepts of play and socialising with their peers!
