About didi Rugby Cobham
Vicky Alexander – didi Rugby Cobham
Cobham Rugby Club sits in the heart of Elmbridge Borough in Surrey. The club is home to over 1000 members ranging from mini youth seniors and girls rugby, touch rugby, netball, lacrosse and tennis.
For the last four years Cobham Rugby Club have been supporting our community schools by delivering rugby-based activities during PE sessions and after-school clubs along with a range of community tag rugby games and events. Cobham Rugby Club are excited to be in partnership with the didi rugby franchise, which will be led and operated by Vicky Alexander, who is currently our community rugby coach.
Vicky is currently a part of the TP 15 coaching team with Richmond Women and has been the driving force behind our very successful girls section.
Vicky is a coach educator for the RFU and has a passion to grow and develop the community rugby game across the area.
Vicky played rugby in New Zealand and since making England her home, has played for Richmond, Wasps and Guildford Ladies. She is currently retired from playing but spends the majority of her time encouraging other people to put boots on and give rugby a try.
“Rugby is an addition to my character,” said Vicky. “I believe it is a game for all and it’s one of the most inclusive sport I have ever been involved with!”
