Siobhan Adams James – didi rugby Caerphilly, South Wales
Biography – Siobhan Adams James – didi rugby Head Coach
Siobhan Adams James brings an infectious passion for sport, community and youth development to didi rugby Caerphilly, which she proudly runs alongside her daughter, Izzie Adams.
Sport has always been at the heart of Siobhan’s life. Raised in a truly sport-mad household, she was around horses before she could walk and went on to play hockey for many years. That love of movement, teamwork and healthy competition has shaped both her personal life and her professional journey and it has been wholeheartedly passed on to her children.
With a strong teaching background, Siobhan previously owned and ran her own riding school until 2020, when her family made the move from Ireland to Wales. Since then, rugby has become an even bigger part of family life. A lifelong rugby follower, Siobhan’s son has played the game since the age of six, and for the past three years she has been closely involved at grassroots level, supporting Mini and Junior rugby and capturing the action through her photography on the sidelines.
Between them, Siobhan’s three children, including Izzie, play an incredible range of sports including rugby, football, basketball, athletics, netball and cricket. It really is a sport-mad household, built on encouragement, positivity and a genuine love of being active.
Together, Siobhan and Izzie are excited to bring didi rugby to Caerphilly, creating a fun, welcoming and inclusive environment where children can build confidence, develop core rugby skills and, most importantly, fall in love with sport from an early age.
A Few words from Siobhan
“I love the idea of kids getting outside & active. didi rugby enables this and helps them get ready for school and team sports. I’m hoping to help many parents and their little ones learn to love sport and be confident and happy ready for when they all join teams of their own.”
